Thanks so much for this report, really great to see some investigative journalism going into what is actually happening in Iceland.

I had one question, mainly around what’s happening with the Icelandic government investigating whether full reserve banking could work as a new banking system for the country

Have you heard from any of your contacts about what the progress on this is? The media and activists news in Iceland has been quiet on this, wondering if it has quietly been dropped or I just haven’t found out the latest?

Very interested as the Green Party in England & Wales passed a motion at last conference saying a Green government would implement full reserve banking (see press release here -http://greenparty.org.uk/news/2013/09/18/green-party-conference-passes-motion-to-end-privatisation-of-money/ ). I’ve written an article about it here (http://www.compassonline.org.uk/the-green-party-takes-on-the-banks/ ).
