Energy Resilience Assessment

Published on April 14, 2012 in Economic enablers
Organisations of all types and sizes are facing an unprecedented set of challenges. The World Economic Forum’s report highlights energy price volatility as a risk with one of the highest potential financial impacts, and also one to watch given its unpredictability.

The Energy Resilience Assessment (ERA) is a diagnostic tool developed by the Transition Network that investigates an organisation’s vulnerabilities to rising energy prices. An ERA identifies the areas of greatest exposure, quantifies this risk and highlights potential mitigation strategies. Two case studies are available below:

ERA Case Study – National Trust

ERA Case Study – Totnes Kayaks
